Report: CIA Paints Pessimistic Iraq Picture (Reuters) - The situation in Iraq is unlikely to improve anytime soon, according to a classified cable and briefings from the CIA, The New York Times reported on Tuesday. The assessments are more pessimistic than the Bush administration's portrayal of the situation to the public, government officials told the newspaper. ...one advantage to living longer is that you see the cycle repeating...in many things. Those of you who don't remember or weren't around for Vietnam won't get that deja vu feeling, all over again. It's like an orchestrated set-piece. I'm sure we're soon going to be told that the light is at the end of the tunnel and so forth. ..."more pessimistic" is code for "we need to get further into it"...because the other side of the act is that we're in increasing danger from "Terror"...so what choice do we have.....right? ...we COULD think for ourselves but then you can't do that when you're a Christian...you have to have "faith" and all that rot. We're being lied to and diddled...we all KNOW that...it just doesn't matter to us. Odd isn't it...it's as if we WANT the misery and coffins that are gonna rain down on us. If you believe in the end of days when Jesus comes back...you HAVE to have lots more misery before that blessed day can come about. Weird ain't it. Ultimate happiness through huge amounts of mass murder...more of the "kill the Innocent for your Goodies to come" nonsense. --------------------- |
