..after months of dawdling and dodging a direct question...Paul Younan finally said what makes Christianity unique and singular is that it promotes acts of great self-sacrifice. It took a minute to shoot that out of the sky by pointing out that others throughout history, well before Christ and after...people who'd never heard of him, didn't feel they'd missed anything and weren't impressed when they did hear, had been sacrificing themselves all over the place...and that Christ's example was hardly any sort of sacrifice at all...what with him being a god and play-acting when he knew damn well all along he'd just get up, dust himself off and fly to heaven..a consolation prize the rest of us humans don't have. Paul went away soon after that..said we hated Jesus when we actually hated stupid people hiding behind him.

Awhile back Shushan presented herself as a perfect example of what she claimed was really REALLY unique about Jesus...forgiving your enemies...and you can see what a hard time she has forgiving her friends! Her enemies left the state.

But let's look at this next claim for the uniqueness of Jesus...by the way I think none of these people know the slightest thing about Jesus..but let that go.

Here is a Christian demonstrating Christian forgiveness...he's addressing a croos section of the all the people Christianity has fucked over..about half the world to be precise.

Mr. Christians: "I want to tell you people of Christ's forgiveness...his admonition that we should forgive those who would do us wrong...who might hate us and wish us ill.

For instance...I want your house. It's a nice house...but I want to add it to my collection...so I'm taking it. I know you might have a moment of weakness..might resent me for it...but I want to reassure you that I will forgive you when you do...just like Jesus said to do. I will forgive you, if you do nothing about it except cry...you can wail if you want to..but that's all. That's as far as my Christian forgiveness will allow you to go. Should you talk back or lock your door I will remove your liver thriough your mouth...and forgive you for bleeding on my shoes, of course.

I think I may want your daughter as well. You can't expect me to marry her, I already have a wife..what do you think I am...Muslim? So...I'll be coming for her this afternoon...now you might feel like hating me for it...and I forgive you for it...like Jesus taught me to do. However if she isn't ready and washed and oiled..or if you try to block my way...I'll shoot you in the head in front of her...rest assured however that I will hold no ill feelings towards you.

I may well want your young son too...he looks juicy. Send him tomorrow and as usual...keep your anger within bounds...cry, swear..stamp your feet..hell, you can even throw a plate or two...and I will forgive you. break three and I'll shoot your wife.

I am a forgiving man...but don't think you can take advantage of me. One last thing...why do you hate Christians"?
