You're over at beth, giving it to them in spades...making good points here and there...but you have this need to FORGIVE your enemies. Why? And what are you calling enemies anyway? Has someone declared war against you? Are planes strafing your house? Do people in Congress or Parliament have "enemies" across the aisle?

...your demented need to FORGIVE, which you've made the central point of your ditzy Christianity, has you NEEDING to have ENEMIES! Else what good is it? I mean Jesus had REAL enemies...as the Iraqis do today...is the comediam on the stage the "enemy" of the audience members he tosses jokes at?

...If you could just talk to people and allow them to express whatever opinions they have, take your anger and shrug it off, or ask yourself why it angers you so...and stick to the POINT and keep focused...you wouldn't be constantly forcing yourself to be "divine"...for such a simple thing as a conversation with someone whom you feel MOCKS you.

Instead you try to FORGIVE...and since that's an insult and patronizing to adults, you get it even HARDER...which makes you strain your rivets and pop several gaskets trying even harder and then harder to FORGIVE! And when you inevitably come up against your basic humanity, which you should have embraced and taken as a given in the first place, you feel guilty for your failure to emulate a Jew...and this proves you are Assyrian?

You make yourself ill...you baffle and embarrass and confuse and make a liar of yourself...you turn what could be a solid performance of reasoned debate and fine exposition into a Feydeau farce...the kind with slamming doors in a hallway as various people go in and out of rooms...and all because what you expect of yourself is so unnecessary...so un-Assyrian.

Roll your sleeves up...focus on the issues...and blow these motherfuckrs to pieces...instead of half starting the job and then flipping out as soon as they touch your "forgive" nerve...no need to forgive them..they are no one's enemies but their own..they are your FRIENDS...as they are mine...for they do half the work of destroying their arguments themselves...all you need do is remain calm...not allow them to escape simply by MOCKING you...and you're home free.

These are only some of the advantages of not being divided against yourself..as no Assyrian can be. Leave Jesus to the Jews. The Assyrians were far more universal in outlook than anything that carpenter had to say.

The bible has given us the ridiculous notion that the Keystone Kops of their day, the most bumbling, forlorn and useless people back then gave the world "morality"...a culture that couldn't make a toilet...gave the world TRUTH! And on the flip side, the people known by all the world to have BUILT civilization from its cradle...are supposed to be devoid of culture, humanity, nuances, complexity...just savages. This is absurd...it flies in the face of common sense...which is the KEYSTONE of that religion....ah well.

Yes Shushan, at some level we ALL do not nice things...but surely even you can see some distinguishing marks between the Christo-Nazis and the Jews...no?

...It isn't nice for a woman to scratch a man's eyes out...it isn't nice for a man to rape a woman...but surely there is a difference between these two "violent" acts...no? Especially when the woman who did the scratching never dreamed of doing such a thing...and only resorted to it because the man tried to rape her...do the circumstances not matter?

...ergo...it is Christians once again who have started this new Crusade and nascent Holocaust...their second one in 60 years...and granted it isn't nice for Muslims to be mean and nasty to people..to Chrstians even...but they didn't start it..on the contrary they have endured a great deal and fought back only sporadically, not having the weapons Christians do. That they have begun to fight in ernest now, while still severely handicapped...(I mean look at how the Americans were crying because their heavy trucks didn't have thick ENOUGH armor???)...is a tribute to their patience and FORBEARANCE...especially if you consider that Iraq did NOTHING to the United States...not even their CHILDREN attacked America, yet America developed a "policy" for killing Iraqi children...in light of all this...it's only fair to condemn in harshest terms the RAPIST and not the woman defending herself with the best means available to her...it isn't nice to scratch a Christian's eyes out, I grant you..but neither is it an honor to be raped by one.
