I know that he also translated the Communist Manifesto into Assyrian! Dr Fraydun and his friends established the first assyrian political party after the fall of nineveh ;-) He was a leftist, but as you know in those days the most progressive intellectuals had leftist ideas. THis was also the case in the late sixties till the late eighties in Turkey, the student movement was a leftist movement and the Assyrian activists in turkey in these days caused a leftist atmosphere in the assyrian activism. THere is even a song by the Nineveh Band of Sweden about " 1st of May" ( International day of Labour!).

A recent discovery is that Stalin managed to kill all the participants of a specific Communist Conference in the east of the Sovjet Union in the days of Dr Fraydun Athuraya. Stalin saw this conference as a threat to his leadership. It is said the names of the participants are listed and known. And since we do not exactly know why Dr Fraydun was killed by the Sovjet secret services, I wonder if Dr Fraydun was one of those participants. There is a Communist library in Amsterdam who collects and gathers all the leftist and communist literature in the world. It is said that they have more information about this specific Communist Conference with names of participants and leaders. I still have to visit this library.
