I am a Syriac, a Jacobian, a Maronite, a Chaldean, and a Yazzidi all in one. I am an Assyrian. I cannot separate myself from the truth because if I do I will be a traitor to my nation. Our race is Sumerian, our Country was Assyria, our capital city was first Nineveh and then Babylon, and our language is Aramaic. Chalda was a Province in Assyria and the language the so-called Chaldeans speak today is the Old Aramaic. And, the language that the rest of us speak is the New Aramaic similar to any other language in the world. Some examples would be the Old English and the New English, the Old Persian and the New Persian, the Old German and the New German and so on and on and on… The above is the true history about our people and some German, or French, or British, or Vatican, or Arab, or Persian Archeologists and Historians have no right, period, trying to rewrite it for their own wrongful agendas with the purpose of dividing and destroying our history in their minds. Those who have tried in the past and are trying today to interject different names into the Assyrian Culture are the traitors of our nation and have to be dealt with according to the law! We the Assyrians would like to think that we are the most intelligent people in the world, but in reality we are the most stupid people in the world. We say that other nations betray each other, but we are the worst people in the world when it comes to betraying our own nation for personal reasons!!! Right alongside Israel, Assyria is the nation of God. Our language is the language of God. But, our dreadful actions have brought shame upon this great name God himself has put upon us and it is because of this fact that he is punishing us today! If we repent and unite and bring the honor back to the holy Assyrian name then God will help us again to flourish in the world, but until then we shall be punished for our wrongful mistakes as you can see happening to our nation all around us today! When God created the world he spoke of Ashur. All you have to do is to open the very first chapter in the Bible, the Genesis, and read it for yourself. God did not talk about Maronite, Chaldean, Jacobian, Protestant, Iran, Iraq, Russia, Turkey, This Village, That Village, This Church, That Church, etc, etc, etc… He talked about Ashur! And he gave us his language we call Aramaic today! It is our mistake that all these other names have been interjected into our culture! We have brought shame upon the work of God! We have and we are still betraying our nation and our people! And, it is because of this why God is punishing us today!!! Wake up my people. Wake up to the truth. Do not let some British, Vatican, French, German, Arab, or Kurdish traitors to tell us otherwise because of their own agendas. Repent my Assyrian people… Repent and let God shine his Holy Spirit and the light of his greatness upon our nation one more time! I am calling on people like Bishop Abraham of Detroit, Bishop Babel of San Jose, Bishop Jamo of San Diego, Younatan Khana in Iraq, Jackie Bejan in San Jose, and others who are betraying our Assyrian nation to repent and to accept their mistakes and ask for Gods forgiveness. Yes, we need to unite but we need to unite under the great name God himself gave to us, the Assyrian name. You know it, I know it, we all know it that what Chalda really was and is. Do not bring disgrace upon the Assyrian name by doing something that Vatican and other politicians in the world want you to do because of some personal gains!!!!! Repent, repent, repent and let God help us again. By what you are doing you are angering God!!! You are not helping! You are destroying everything including Gods work! If you don’t stop what you are doing and if you keep on continuing on the same wrongful path of destruction, the wrath of God will come down on you and it will destroy you all. Kurds were many groups and factions but when they united they united under one name. They united under the KURD NAME. They did not try to invent a new name such as Kurdo-Muslims or whatever else!!!!! Do you get my point??? That is why they got so many ballots in the last election in Iraq!!!!! Why are the Assyrians not doing the same thing? We are not Chaldo-Assyrians. We are not Maronito-Assyrians. We are Assyrians period. Why are we calling ourselves by the names of religious denominations, by the names of cities and villages, by the names of countries, etc. Why? Why? Why? Repent, repent, repent my Assyrian people because if you don’t then the wrath of God will burn you in hell until the end of times!!!!!!!!!! We are betraying our nation because of what the British, the French, the Germans, the Vatican, the Arabs, the Persians, the Kurds, and others are wanting us to do!!!!! We need to repent and change and do what is right for us as a nation!!!!!!!!!! Change is hard but we need to change and start to help our people. I am praying to God and I am asking him to bring down his wrath upon all of you that are currently in the process of betraying the Assyrian nation. I ask him to make you burn in hell and bring fire out of your horrible mouths and burn your souls until the end of times… I am also asking God to bring down his wrath upon all those from other countries who are trying to destroy the Assyrian nation and history. That is my wish upon you and it shall come true! I am asking my Assyrian people to rise up against this oppression that have been brought down upon them. Do not be afraid. Do not let them frighten you any longer. Extend your arms to the heavens and praise the Lord. Scream the name Assyrian from top of your lungs and let the world hear us again. Our blood has been shed. Our blood is still being shed on the great land of Mesopotamia. In the last couple of years, since the war started, over one hundred Assyrians have been killed in Iraq. We are paying the price regardless of the fact whether or not we ask for our rights in Iraq, so yell and scream to the world and ask for your rights my dear Assyrians. Do not let them do what they have done to our parents and our ancestors for the past several thousands of years. Raise your arms, raise your flags, praise the Lord Jesus Christ, and yell out your Assyrian name to the world. The blood of our brothers and sisters and our ancestors is screaming out of the soil of Mesopotamia. With our actions we have brought shame upon their names and their blood. We have brought shame upon our great ancestors. Rise up, rise up, rise up because the time is today and tomorrow is too late. There is no tomorrow, there is no tomorrow, there is no tomorrow… The time is today… Our country is not in Lebanon, our country is not in Syria, our country is not in Iran, in Russia, in Georgia, in China, in India, in Jordan, in Turkey, in Germany, in Australia, in the United Sates, in France, in Canada, in Brazil, in Japan, in Argentina, in Egypt, in other parts of the world. Our country is in Iraq and I asking all my Assyrian people to start emerging on Iraq again. We all have to go back to the land of our ancestors. Do not be afraid. It is Gods Will and he wants us to do it. I am asking all of our Assyrian brothers and sisters the Maronites, the Jacobians, the Yazzidis, the Chaldeans, and all other Assyrians around the world to return to their roots and to rise up to this oppression and to start emerging on our great ancestral homeland in Iraq. God will be with you and God will help you every step of the way. I want you to praise the name of Jesus Christ on your journey back to the homeland and let the world hear our voice in Gods words one more time. Praise the Lord and sing his name all the way back to our ancestral land and back to Gods soil again. Let the world hear the Lord’s name through us one more time. Repent in Gods name and unite under his name and under the great name he gave us at the beginning of times, the Assyrian name. There are several Assyrian Bishops and a few other individuals in Iraq and U.S. that are trying to establish a conspiracy by creating a division amongst the Assyrians worldwide and also by starting instability within the Assyrian populations in Iraq. They are as follow: 1) Bishop Abraham with the Assyrian Catholic Church in Detroit, MI. 2) Bishop Babel Soro with the Assyrian Church of the East in San Jose, CA. 3) Bishop Sarhad Jamo with the Assyrian Catholic Church in San Diego, CA. 4) Younatan Khana (Previously known as Yagoub Yussip or Jacob Yussip) in Baghdad, Iraq. 5) Jackie Bejan with the Assyrian American Association (AAA) in San Jose, CA. These individuals are trying to interject new names such as Chaldean and Syriac into the Assyrian name and by doing so to divide the Assyrian people ultimately creating unrest within the Assyrian community in Iraq. These individuals had all received money from the government of Saddam and the Baat party when they were still in power until two years ago. It is unknown if they are still receiving any money or other motivations from any underground sources today!!! Two of these individuals (Bishop Abraham and Younatan Khana mentioned above) had very close ties to Saddam and his regime. I believe all these five individuals must be investigated and their motives uncovered. These individuals have no right to interfere with the Assyrian political process in Iraq including other parts of the world. Three of these individuals are suppose to be religious leaders and have no right to get involved with the Assyrian State Affairs. There has to be a separation of Church and State even for a small nation such as the Assyrians!!!!! These individuals are interfering with that process and they have to be stopped. The above mentioned individuals might say that they are trying to unite the Assyrians but in reality they are not! In order for me to make you understand the entire picture I have to step back in time and give you a brief description of the historical events that have led to the troubles of today’s Assyrians. As you all know Assyrians created the first Church in Christianity in the First Century approximately around the year 75 AD. This Church was called the Assyrian Catholic Church. Sometime in the next 100 years or so there was a division in the Church based on some differences that existed among the Church Leaders on how to run the Church!!! Because of this the Catholic Church split into two segments sometime toward the end of the Second Century and early part of the Third Century. The first part of the Church stayed in what is known as Iraq today and gained the name The Assyrian Church of the East, and the second part of the Church moved to what is known as Syria today and remained under the Assyrian Catholic Church name. The name Assyrian was eventually dropped from the Church in Syria and after a number of years it became to be known as the Catholic Church only… When the Romans accepted the Christianity as their national religion in the Third Century they took the Assyrian Catholic Church from Syria and moved it to what is known as the Vatican today. When the process of the transfer of the Church from Syria to Rome was completed, the Church became to be known as the Roman Catholic Church to the world. The two Churches, the Assyrian Catholic Church of the East and the Roman Catholic Church, operated very much independently from each other until the Fifteenth Century. Around this time in history the Catholic Church was running the show in Europe and most if not all the governments were under its influence. As you all know this was called the Dark Ages!!! The Catholic Church was in the process of expanding and trying to reach its grasp all over the world and influencing the entire global community with its ideology. In doing so the Roman Catholic Church realized that the Assyrian Catholic Church of the East is standing in its path of expansion in the world especially in Near East, Middle East, Minor Asia, and Far East regions. To over come this obstacle, the Roman Catholic Church devised a plan to divide the Assyrian Catholic Church in Iraq and by doing so to weaken its structure. They proceeded by contacting and manipulating some of the Assyrian Church Leaders in Iraq and convincing them to distant themselves from the Assyrian Catholic Church and to go on their own separate way! Ultimately, the idea of power and other incentives convinced some of these Assyrian Church Leaders to break away from the Assyrian Catholic Church in Iraq and to go on their own separate way. When the separation was completed, the newly created denomination in Iraq had to start gaining some public support because as you all know without people the Church will not survive! So, the newly created Catholic denomination started preaching and teaching that their way is the correct way of worshiping God and that they are different in many ways from the Assyrian Catholic Church in Iraq. To show that they are different and also under the advice of the Vatican at that time, they started interjecting the Name Chaldean into the picture! This resulted in the newly formed Catholic denomination in Iraq (Under the supervision of the Vatican) to become known as the Chaldean Catholic Church to the world. Over many years of preaching across Iraq, many Assyrians eventually started following this newly established denomination in Iraq. They ultimately became to be brained washed into believing that they are really a separate nation from the Assyrians and that their true name is really Chaldean. Keeping a long story short, the Vatican had succeeded in breaking the Assyrian Catholic Church and dividing the Assyrian people in Iraq. “Divide and Conquer”! This opened the way for the Vatican to extend its grasp to Asia as it had done in Europe and its people for centuries. But, as you all know the Roman Church eventually weakened because the people in Europe got fed up with their ideologies and revolted against the Church bringing the end of the Dark Ages. From that moment on after the fall of the Roman Catholic Church at the end of the Dark Ages, the influence of Vatican on the Chaldean Church was also weakened!!!!! And this brings us to the recent history to about thirty years ago when Saddam took power in Iraq. Saddam knowing that Iraq is the ancestral homeland of the Assyrians was trying to destroy the Assyrian culture and heritage in Iraq so that they can never lay claim on Iraq again. He killed the Assyrians, he started calling them Christian Arabs, and he started claiming their history as the Arab History. What a scam!!! This was definitely a low blow to the Assyrians in Iraq and all over the world (Assyrians live in about forty countries in the world today)! Saddam also came to learn that the Vatican had also tried to divide the Assyrians by dividing the Assyrian Church in Iraq almost five centuries earlier. He then started exploiting what the Vatican had started! He gave huge lumps of money to the Chaldean Catholic Church in Iraq to start placing a lot of emphasis on the name Chaldean and to start brainwashing the Assyrians again into believing that they are Chaldeans and not Assyrians. In his mind, Saddam was doing this to speed up the process of erasing the Assyrian identity from the world. This is where the people that I have mentioned at the beginning of this letter come into the picture! It was and it is these individuals and people like them who have sold out their nation, the Assyrian nation, to people such as Saddam for personal gains and power and have to be stopped. There are other Assyrian individuals that had worked with Saddam’s regime to destroy the Assyrian names but their names are unknown! These individuals and individuals like them have to be investigated and this vicious cycle of destroying the Assyrian Heritage has to be stopped. Assyrians are Assyrians! They are not Chaldeans, they are not Syriacs, they are not Maronites, and they are not Jacobians. All of them are Assyrians, period. I invite all of these groups to awaken to the truth and to start to unite again. Every Chaldean, Jacobian, Maronite, Syriac, and all other Assyrian peoples have to wake up and unify. They have to be proud of their common Assyrian Heritage and they have to rise up against these forces of evil and they have to unite one more time. They have to stand up to the forces that have tried so viciously to separate them from each other. The Assyrians have to take their rightful place in the global community one more time. My last word to those individuals that are trying to destroy the Assyrian nation is to repent and to ask for Gods forgiveness. I ask those Assyrians that are betraying their own nation like those I have mentioned in this letter to wake up and to ask God to forgive their sins. Let me share an example here with you. You do not see, for instance, the American Catholic Church (Or other Catholic Churches in other countries in the world) calling itself under a different name and its members a different nation from that of the United States of America. Then, what gives the right to the Vatican and to other individuals to interfere with other nations’ well being by interjecting names and dividing them as it has been happening in the case of the Assyrians? Nobody has the right to do this to the Assyrians or any other nation in the world for that matter, period. Enough is enough. The time of the Dark Ages has come to pass! We live in the Twenty First Century and in a new technologically advanced era! I ask the global community to recognize the Assyrian pain and to help the Assyrians to unite under their ancestral name because it is the right thing to do. We are all human beings, so lets all of us always take steps in our lives to live up to that honor. The honor of being a human!!!!! ----- (name conceiled) PS. What is Chaldean? During the era of the Assyrian Empire around four to five thousands years ago, the Assyrians decided to establish a society to study the Stars. This group of scientists and astronomers was given the name Chaldean by the Assyrian government. Throughout the years this group of scientists/astronomers and their families became to be known as Chaldean. The name was eventually placed on one of the provinces of the Assyrian Empire. This province was called Chalda. As you know the Bible also mentions that the great father Abraham was from the city of Ur from the province of Chalda. This makes the Jewish people Assyrians too as are the Greeks and other nations in the world today, but that is not the point here. The point is that Chalda and Chaldean was the name of a province and an astronomical society within the Assyrian Empire. They were Assyrians, period. Today, nobody (All the way from the Vatican, to Saddam, to other corrupted individuals) has the right to interject the Chaldean name into the Assyrian culture trying in a dire attempt to divide them in the hopes of destroying their heritage! (Please also note couple of other interesting facts: The Assyrians also created a Seafaring society to run the shipping lanes in the Mediterranean Sea. This group eventually came to be known as the Phoenicians. I would also like to take this opportunity to place a very strong emphasis on the fact that there was never such a thing as the Babylonian Empire. We all know that in a kingdom, every once in a while the dynasty and the ruling family changes. Lets use the British kingdom as an example here to help you understand the point in question. As you know throughout the British history different dynasties and families have ruled the land. So was the case in the Assyrian Empire! Around 650 BC a family from the province of Chalda gained power of the government in the Assyrian Empire and moved the capital city from Nineveh to Babylon. Therefore, Babylon became the capital city of the Assyrian Empire until the time of its collapse by the Persians in about 500 BC. Babylon was never an Empire. It was simply a City! The today’s historians and Archeologists have no right to call the Assyrian Empire as the Babylonian Empire. They do it either on purpose to obscure the Assyrian History, or they do it out of lack of knowledge on the subject matter.
