Fallacy #1: Insideassyria.com and assyrianconvention.com are created and managed by the same person or person’s. The Truth: Farid is a fan of assyrianconvention.com and has linked to AssyrianConvention.com from the insideassyria.com homepage. Thanks Farid your support is appreciated. Fallacy #2: Assyrianconvention.com webmaster (Kristopher Khoury) is "The Reader". The Truth: "The Reader" happens to be an anonymous person who has submitted their articles to me and asked me to not disclose their identity. On the AssyrianConvention.com website it clearly states (at the bottom) that the views of the writers of "Uncommon Sense" are not necessarily those of AssyrianConvention.com. Fallacy #3: Kris Khoury has designed Farid Parhad art site. The Truth: This happens to be true and NOT a fallacy. Kristopher Khoury designed the site of the artist formerly known as Pancho, Farid Parhad for an undisclosed amount. My business relationship with Mr. Parhad has nothing at all to do with his or my political, social, cultural or religious views. Fallacy #4: AssyrianConvention.com posted an image or something related to Assyrians being poisoned. The Truth: This is the first we have heard of it and have denied any rumors that claim AssyrianConvention.com perpetrated something as serious as that. Another point, it seems ironic that most of you arguing with me currently are poisoned of the mind. Fallacy #5: Having an online personality is like having a real personality. The Truth: Online personalities are often used as real people but they are not. Alter-realities are a brains natural defense mechanism to avoiding a tense situation. In retrospect, alter-realities can be therapeutic but eventually cause interpersonal problems and hermit like qualities. Fallacy #6: AssyrianConvention.com profits from banner ads and such The Truth: This is true I am currently sipping a really expensive imported tea on my beach in Malibu glancing at the AssyrianConvention.com flag that waves so briskly atop my 60 foot yacht. Fallacy #7: To truly be Assyrian you should never question anyone who is Assyrian. You should take their word as gold. Also, you should blindly follow the heard because it must be that way. The Truth: We (Assyrians) live in a world where our history has been skewed by false scholars (you will find many on AINA) who claim to have harnessed the holy grail of Assyria. AssyrianConvention.com has made it a priority to point out at these individuals and make a joke/ass of them. Why AssyrianConvention.com is named AssyrianConvention.com: AssyrianConvention.com was a project I was commissioned to do for the AANF. They asked me to create a site for their Assyrian Convention in 2003. The project fell through and I was stuck with the domain and a lot of unused material. So I put the domain to use. If you read my disclaimer at the bottom of the site, I state that I am not affiliated with the AANF and the site is for a mature audience.
