My opinion is that we need an "Assyrian Parliament in Exile", and that would act as the lobbying force. However that should be preceded with a declaration that "Assyria is Under Occupation", after which an Assyrian Parliament in Exile becaomes the natural and logical next step.

...what a horse's ass! Imagine Native Americans demanding that the United States government leave because it is "occupying" their nation. This is sedition...this is what got them in trouble in Iraq and elsewhere...this idiotic belief that the Muslim conquest, 1300 years AGO, makes the present government of Iraq an "occupying" power....the recent occupation of Iraq by Americans is a legitimate occupation...but what do boys know.
