Dear Ken, Glad to see you finally admit that you are a CIA informant. And I don't blame you for not using this C word.......you don't want to blow your cover. Now regarding the question you can ask Yonadam Kanna please ask him whether it's advisable to work with the CIA knowing that they are the ones who directly or indirectly planted bombs and blew up 5 of our churches in August just last year? Ask him how much longer we must pretend that the Americans are in Iraq to liberate Iraq and not its oil using tactics that cut across religous and sectarian lines in an effort to divide Iraq's groups, promote civil war and give America further pretext to extend their illegal mandate within Iraq? Thanks again, Tiglath ----Original Message Follows---- From: "Shiro Amakusa" <amakusashiro1@msn.com> Reply-To: assyrianactivists@yahoogroups.com To: <assyrianactivists@yahoogroups.com> Subject: Re: [assyrianactivists] Questions For Mr. Kanna Date: Wed, 22 Jun 2005 19:02:02 +0900 Dear Ashor, You know the answer to that question! Although I never use it, nor do any of the Assyrians in Iraq, Mr. Kanna uses the `C` word. We can all disagree, but still love, support and defend each other! A.G Shiro Amakusa <amakusashiro1@msn.com<mailto:amakusashiro1@msn.com>> wrote: Dear Mary, Thanks for the question. The answer to this is: They are working very hard to ensure that we have a good constitution that has our name in it, guarantees a special voting system that will allow for our representation, mention of our language as a protected language and resettlement and reconstruction. Mr. Kanna is the Chairman of the Reconstruction and Public Affairs Committee. I think he is doing the best he can within the Iraqi Government system. Personally, I think he is too naive to think that once in power they will honor their word. We went over that quite a bit and he is confident that he can trust them. I do not think so, in paticular regarding the constitution, but that is Mr. Kannas feeling. I hope this helps! We had lots of good meeting, but very little media. As usual I found out the day before he left. Amazingly the Assyrian guy at the Embassy never told me . . . as usual! We were able to get the information about our people and the failure of aid to get to our areas to the Japanese Govenrment and the word was passed on to the Embassy in Baghdad. Let us pray that this will translate into direct action to help us. Thanks, --------------------- |
