...You're going to see, in the days following this attack, the English government and the most conservative-fanatical elements among the white trash move for greater restrictions against English Muslims and all dark and bearded people in particular. Headlines are already asking if it's possible to have security in so "open" a society as England supposedly has. And, mind you, this is ONE attack in ONE day by the beseiged people of Iraq and other Muslim nations who are not just feeling the threat of violence but have been living the reality of violence of a most brutal kind for 16 years and more, much more.

If Londoners, with their parliamentary background and "open" and tolerant society can so quickly become alarmed...as the Americans came unglued after ONE attack...how much more can we understand the Ottomans facing, not one tattered country, but a gaggle of the most powerful and advanced Industrial European nations, Christians nations, of their day...all of whom made no secret of what they felt was their right to do: attack a nation that had done nothing to them except have this same oil they're back there killing people for some decades later.

With the blessings of the British, Christian Armenians seized the bank in Istanbul, in the days before hostilities broke out and threatened to blow the place up unless...after the intervention of the British Consul, these terrorists were ALLOWED to go free by the Sultan and were escorted out of the country on the Consul's private yacht...how did that look? Also the Christians of Urmia received arms and money from the same Brits to attack the Turks...killing hundreds of fathers and sons. These acts alone would push the Turkish government and people...especially the hordes of illiterate and extremist Aprims and Jassims, into a paranoid frenzy...and as it turned out...they were right...war was declared and the oil fields seized...and thousands killed.

I'm not justifying anything...only pointing out that human behavior is pretty much the same wherever hatred and ignorance and greed and lawlessness are made into "policy" matters.

Imagine how Iraqis and any Muslims in the MidEast must view these Christian attacks...imagine how terrified the Christians in Iraq are when Kenfuck says he's coming to their rescue...and imagine how frightened Muslim Brits are now at what the Brits will say is their JUSTIFIED suspicion and "security measures".

What comes round...you know.
