...People who are on the inside of a ponzi scheme must know by its very nature that itīs a fraud. There are no "investments" made in anything...no stocks, bonds, real estate...nothing. The dumb clucks donīt know that...they actually believe that thereīs some "something" out there that will pay back stupendous dividends...I donīt know what the suckers are told....where they think all the money in dividends is supposed to come from..but surely anyone in on the scam, or who "represents" it, knows the truth. Someone who made it out of law school, like Suzy and her brother, would be expected to ask..."So Karl, just what ARE people investing in?". It defies logic to believe anything else. In fact no one was investing in anything...they were to be paid their profits from the purse of the next sucker and the next and the next. A ponzi scheme is EXPECTED to fail...it has to. The whole point is to skim and stash the profits that come to those who instigate and push the thing along for as long as they can. Itīs sort of what the stock market does during those bubble times when people are investing in investing and not much else...but it canīt be sustained for long and eventually it HAS to collapse. It will be worth the price to merely be able to ask Suzy and Mar Ponzi just what THEY believed people were investing in...and can they show that any of the dividends came from actual investments or just from the next sucker. Turns out old Froggy was investing in chumps...a growth industry if there ever was one. H.L. Mencken said it best..."no one ever went broke underestimating the intelligence of the American people". Had he lived in Australia or BetNahrain, he would have been more inclusive. --------------------- |
