...if the nearly half million people who voted for Nader targeted a single corporation...let's say some company they would ordinarily do $4.00 worth of business with in ONE year...they'd lop off two million bucks from their bottom line...and it would come directly out of their profits. THAT'S power!!!

..it's so damn simple..I mean the means to bring these corporations back to what they were supposed to do as businesses...which was to serve us..to merely serve US. But they've come to control our lives in ways that make democracy and this Republic a joke.

Just as this election came down to a few voters holding the key...so too would a small percentage of people voting with their dollars make the difference to a corporation. You hear them hinting at it all the time...that they depend on Jesus...I mean at Christmastime, to make their year's profit...the rest of the year barely covers operating expenses...and NO corporation is in business to just be in business...they are no longer controlled by a single family with some nostalgic old-country hometown stake in the plant, the employees or the town and increasingly, not even to the COUNTRY...these corporations are like sharks...constantly swimming in a green sea of money or they'll die...they exist to make money..not to "serve you", as they smoothly claim with the best money that actors and writers can buy.

The ability to take back control of our democracy is right in our wallets and purses and even the small change in our pockets and under the couch...but we haven't come to grips yet with what the corporations know only too well...that's it's the SMALL CHANGE their profits come from...and it's with the assurance of an abundance of profit that they have OUR MONEY with which to buy OUR government..and send our children to war if they feel like it.

Nader's people could all refuse to buy from whichever car manufacturer most of them buy from...they could refuse to buy toothpaste from any ONE corporation...the beauty of it is that these guys are so diversified you could target a whole array of product and hurt them on several frontsYou don't have to take all their money from them...let them continue making millions, even billions...but they need all that money FIRST to pay expenses..like you have to pay your bills before you can afford a movie or dinner out....that movie is their profit...and NO corporation can stand to lose two million dollars...especially not for consecutive years...never mind the practical impact, just the IDEA would scare the shit out of them...remember, they aren't IN BUSINESS to be in business...they're in business to make MONEY and they have to make more and more and MORE each year...those are just the rules they play by and if you're going to beat them you have to play by THEIR rules...only in so far as you learn how to twist them around to YOUR advantage..as they have paid billions to lawyers and lobbyists to stack the rules in their favor.

There are so many of them making the same thing that you'd still be able to buy toothpaste...but it from another company...one that might be thrilled to know it's going to get an additional half million customers if IT plays ball...if it stops or never starts engaging in politics..in paying lobbyists...just does business AS a business...takes what profit it can make etc. Hell, you might even inspire some person to start up a toothpaste shoppe with the promise of a steady supply of customers.

They don't want that kind of trouble..or ANY kind of trouble. Pick the most conservative Corporation you can...set up a situation where the Board has to hear that through magic or green women from outer space, the corporation, with its stalwart curmudgeon of a CEO who believes in witches and Jesus and kill any child that gets in his way...tell him that the ONLY way his company or companies will be profitable ever again is if HE funds an abortion clinic...leave him no way out and see how fast he hires the best abortionists around! You really think his "morals" are going to get in his way? We already KNOW these people have sold their souls for money...look at old Martha Stewrat who sold her's for small change...they are at OUR mercy but we don't know it yet.

You can set it up as a model...a hypothetical...pick a corporation...select a product of theirs...and only using Nader's raiders as a population...calculate how much harm they could cause the bottom line...what the response might be from the corporation...from the public at large and from politicians etc. Project that over 20 years and see how much money we could cost THEM....whereas they've been robbing US all these years...sure we want toothpaste and they make toothpaste...but we have the MONEY they want...they aren't making toothpaste because they like it...and they don't need tons of it for their children...the toothpaste is an EXCUSE..it's a DEVICE to get the money they'll then invest in land deals, stocks, loans etc. Like those companies that dream up some new gadget they sell late night on TV..they could give a shit about the widget they're so excited over...that thing is almost useless and they KNOW that..they know the Ginsu knife will wind up in the drawer with all those other knives..that it's a scam and doesn't add a thing to your life..but your $9.99 adds TONS to their's. All that spare change allows them to invest in apartment buildings or whatever their thing is...just like Life Insurance companies...hell they can't pay out from the money they take in and they could give a shit about the "quality" of your life and your dear "loved ones"...they use your money to grow LOTS MORE....THAT'S what businesses are in business for..to get YOUR spare change....because their profit comes from THAT spare change...not the bulk of the money they take in..that stuff pays the overhead...

It's so damn simple it hurts.
