Dear Age Newspaper,

I just finished reading your July 2, 2005 written by Ed O'Loughlin and titled, 'Tide turns for Gaza settlers.'

http://www.theage.com.au/news/world/tide-turns-for-gaza-settlers/2005/07/01/1119724808969.html?oneclick=true

To my dismay I noticed that the main article was about Jewish fundamentalists and how they are forcibly being removed from Gaza by the Israeli army.

My question then is why would you place a photo of a Palestinian girl addressing an anti-Israel rally at a refugee camp in the northern Gaza Strip on Thursday?

You discredit yourselves and show yourselves to be anti-Palestinian, anti-Semitic and anti-Islamic by deliberately placing what appears to be an out of context photo of a militant Palestinian girl in an article that was solely about Jewish fundamentalists.

Whilst we don't expect you to paint the Jewish fundamentalists with the same terrorist label that you are so quick to paint Islamic fundamentalists with, we do however expect you to not use out of context photos to deliberately demonise an occupied people.

Thanks,
David Chibo

P.S. The Palestinians and all Arabs are semities as well as they come from the same language family.
