...I'm game. While it's good to have one encompassing statement page where some of these grand points are treated cohesively...I know I've benefitted from having go up against a succession of idiots who frame their idiocies in slightly different form....I've been asked the same question by so many new idiots that instead of getting bored I've become more focused and seen aspects I missed before...but it's getting to a point where I finally find myself repeating and at my wits end...not because I'm stumped by anything new...but because I heard it all a hundred times and no one has anything new to add. The church doesn't like boys kissing...how old is that? The same can't quite be said of the majority of the ideas expressed here because we were forced to create this thingie for the simple reason that these ideas are anathema anywhere else. I proudly bear the title, "Enema of Assyria" by a well meaning but challenged Aprim who never met a word or thought he couldn't lick...While the savage boobs of the church haven't added anything new in 2000 years...we neo-pagan Assyrians have introduced new ideas...and reached the limit on some of the themes...not all, but certainly some basic ones..and we can finally light up a seegar and get fat and sassy...like the rest of them we can develop a canon of work and blast people with it. Every Revolutionary puts him or herself out of business eventually...Fidel became President with a desk instead of a palm grove and Che worked the banks of Cuba for a time...Fidel stayed and everybody got tired of him...and Che got himself killed and beatified when he tried too hard to repeat the Cuban Revolution...even a revolutionary can get musty..the real revolution is evolution...but a real one, hurried and goosed along by people who refuse to kill...that's very old fashioned and not revolutionary anymore, killing, I mean... Voting is old hat too...it's meaningless in the present context...and Democracy will always lead to Oligarchy..it HAS to...for people are free to get as rich as they want and sooner or later getting richer will mean underhanded tricks, monopolies, fake news and more and more warfare...happens every time. The only new thing I can think of for this new age of capitalist Oligarchy, not agrarian democracy..is to control our own spending habits...to vote with our bucks...that's the only thing Wealth understands, they have debilitated themselves...jettisoned so much of what being Human means, that they have placed themselves at our mercy...we just don't see it yet...remember, these people are crazy, the super rich I mean...no matter how many bucks of their own they have...they want just ONE MORE.....from your pocket. That being the case...all those one dollar bills in our pockets hold the key to life and meaning for these weirdos who have taken our money out of circulation till we can't afford a dentist...and crammed it into their vaults. It's our choice and so far we're still SO 200 years ago. So...let's codify some of our ideas...carve them in internet stone...grow old gracefully and allow the next generation to maul us as we've mauled these old farts. If we wish to avoid that fate, let's not make love to our ideas but go get new ones. --------------------- |
