As we have bent over backwards to INSIST any Muslim MUST be Arab because his or her religion comes from Arabia..and as we have used "Arab" in a Racist way, we have become understandably sensitive when called Christian ARABS! "Oh no"...we say, "WE, are NOT Arab...we are...uh....uh.....uh....ASSYRIANS"!!!

...and how do we know we are Assyrians? NOT because we believe in an Assyrian god...but a Jewish one! How's that for clarity? I knew a man once who spoke out in church with some exasperation..."Enough with the GOD OF ISRAEL...THE GOD OF ISRAEL....Sargon and Ashurbanipal had their OWN god"!!!

Besides which you cannot be Assyrian CHRISTIAN for that means you follow TWO gods. You can't be Muslim CHRISTIAN either for the same reason. The name ASSYRIAN carries within it the name of the god his people refer to themselves by...as in ASHUR-ians. Christ-ians believe in Christ...Assyrians believe in Ashur....it shouldn't even be necessary to say such an obvious thing...but it is.

If any Muslim has to be from Arabia because that is the birthplace of Islam...then any Christian ANYWHERE is a Jew because Christianity comes from Israel. Whatever they are, they are NOT Assyrian.

We are descended from ALL the glorious people of BetNahrain..up to and including the amazing Islamic Assyrian Empire...thank you!
