Jeff, There is a song I would love to post here about Iraq. One part goes like this. Ana Childani el Asil, Ashuri el fasil, kurdi el malamih, mandale el galib, turkomane el 3asim, siryani el sabir, armani el 3isheg.......etc So we are all children of the Digla and Forat...the Tigris and Euphrates...children of Iraq..and we do not let anyone get between us..let alone a Cheesus fella! Now that I know that being Chaldean means I can be Sumerian, Akkadian, Assyrian, Mandean, Babylonian, and of all the peoples of Mesopotamia, it is more appealing to me. =) Besides Chaldeans are much more hospitable. Ya3ish el 3iraq, ow Sha3ib el 3iraq! =) P.S Do you understand arabic ? ...I second what this wonderful CHALDEAN (sorry, I always have to emphasize that) has said!! ;-) --------------------- |
