I have a different take on this issue. I think, the great majority of the population on this planet is decent working people and poor which have NO VOICE in decision making of the ruling classes and people in power around the world. The working people and poor in South America, Africa, Asia, Middle East and the rest of the world are suffering from the same symptoms and injustices as the working people and poor are suffering in the United States, more or less; degree may vary. And on shipping of American workers jobs to the less developed nations- Globalization, I think, those multi transnational CORPORATIONS are the benefactors and NOT American working people. Now, American workers are worst off and they have to work two jobs to make the salary that they used to make before this Globalization. And of course, as result of all these, the purchasing power of working people has diminished and those $100 shoes days are long gone; and this scenario ISN’T just for American working people but rather for all workers around the world. --------------------- |
