all they expected was that people obey the Civil Law and behave themselves...for thje first time in a few centuries there was peace in the land..the bands of rogues and cut throats each bishop kept in pay disbanded or were dismembered...you have to treat Christians that way...they know no way to make peace among themselves.

What peace was that? Except for the first Abbasid period when Christians(whom you hate so much) were translating books from Syriac and Greek to teach the arab muslims,the rest of the islamic caliphate was a down hill reign.
