..there's one party...they hand it over to each other in succession...it's a game. The vote means absolutely nothing..that does NOT mean that we're helpless. When the vote and free elections were first envisioned in America we were a nation of farmers and slaves and no one had much money to spend...today we the people hold the purse strings on the people running us and our lives into the ground...bankrupting us spiritually while they provide candy-colored Hummers for to drive to Costco with. ...This article at LEAST recognizes the obvious..that millionaires run the show and none of them will risk their bottom line. It would be far better for Dems to go down in glorious defeat rather then kiss Repubs asses all the way down. ...good article. But good writing won't cut it..just like in-depth reporting won't do it...we KNOW we are being lied to...no one has to "uncover" anything...we KNOW the war is illegal and immoral...we KNOW we're killing children for oil...there's no need to report it to us...we don't care because for decades now we too have been making heroes of those who make money...and make it any way they can. In our hearst we can forgive a murderer anything...so long as it pays...and we benefit. ...Where did we get the idea that it's okay to benefit from murder...so long as you dress it up? From Christianity...where else? --------------------- |
