..this is such bull....if you use lies and have no other justification to declare pre-emptive war against a civilian population...how the hell can you maintain that you want a stable society into the third year of your occupation?

...had the point been regime change, which all lawyers said is no legal justifcation for a war...the regime was changed and there is no reason for the United States to be there further...of COURSE there will be violence and jockeying for power as all those groups Saddam sat on are released and the police disbanded...obviously the mere presence of the United States is what keeps this thing going...that doesn't mean there'll be peace as soon as America leaves...but at least the primary and ongoing provocation for this violence will be gone and the real sorting out, which of course will be bloody yet, can at least begin.

The idea that peace can be achieved while the attacking forces, whom everyone knows created pretexts for this war, are still there, still abusing civilians and creating new enemies daily is absurd...and the cherry on top of this bloody Christian nightmare is that they want to "train" Iraqis to turn their guns on EACH OTHER...and are deliberately leeping the people poor, out of work and with no prospects EXCEPT to either join their "police" or the Freedom Fighters.

It was illegal and wrong from the start and all the crap about how the Christians want peace and stability and democracy is just that...crap! They want exactly what they're getting and Bush doesn't mind at all that innocent young Americans are dying either..it's a win win for him...the more that die the more he can say we must remain so that their deaths were not in VAIN!
