I agree. The Israelites proclaim the word of Yahwe, the god of Israel, and present him as the ONLY true god. Assyrians never proclaimed the word of Alaha Ashur, and in most cases, the Assyrians only REVEALED oracular words of the deities (or Assyrian gods). To the Assyrians, each god was a creator, and thus worthy of his/her own worship. In other words, you cannot love the "body" of god until you love each part and parcel of Alaha Ashur, for the many comprise the whole. This idea is reflected in all aspects of Assyrian ideology.
