Christianity is an offshoot of Judaism and Judaism and its offshoos were never a part of being Assyrian. Having given up their own religion...which included within it an entire culture and civilzation thousands of years old, to adopt a Jewish one, those people gave up the essence of being Assyrian...they traded national identity for religious identity...they traded being someone for being no body...nobody but a religion floating in space. All you need do is compare what they achieved AS Assyrians and where they've sunk to as Christians...and we're supposed to be GLAD because now that we've been made dirt we have the chance to prove the bible RIGHT??? Because the world will know peace when Assyria is restored? Are you crazy or what? Those people...all of them converted to Islam or Christianity..more than likely to Islam which mathed their own vigorous lifestyle far better than the treacle and mush of Christianity...Assyrians had no need of a Messiah..that's Jew bullshit. But let's allow that some Assyrians converted to Jesus...and then walked barefoot to China and India where they were politely tolerated...because the people there were tolerant and accepting..not for any merit in the Christians. Meanwhile the Assyrians who converted to Islam got back on horseback and took their culture and heritage all the way to Spain and the New World...you don't think desert Arabs living in mud huts and tents built the greatness that was the Islamic Empire??? That was our influence...and Islam gave us back the vigor to dream big again and build to match it. The basic message of Christianity is grace through cannibalism..amd it was the Hebrews, not the Mesopotamians, who practised cannibalism and infant sacrifice and who knows what else.
