Thanks for the warm welcome. I noticed that you refer to "the boys" quite a bit and is that a reference to Christians or something?

Also, I wanted to share a couple of thoughts. Firstly, I do not know if Assyrians exist or not. The fact that they (we..) are absolute Christians is just mind boggling. I mean, there is no absolute anything! Even in Pakistan, there are some Pakistani Jews!

For the record, I do not have a problem with being a "mutt", or a people who are an amalgam of many nations. The more variety you have in you, the "richer" you are and can brag about the accomplishments of all those people. The problem I do have however, is with the community and why it whores out the "Assyrian" name. Everything that is done by and for Assyrians has to do with church in one way or another, Id say 95%. I am baffled at how we (if indeed we are Sargon-ites) went from warriors to pacifist sheep. I am downright disgusted, to tell you the truth, at our so called peoples' actions today or lack there of. It may sound like I am echoing your sentiments, but I guess in the end "Iraqi", is the best label and this should be the nationalism we embrace and spread. Instead, the majority of "our people" wishes for the destruction of Iraq and all Muslims. They have so much hate in them, that they don't mind seeing some of their Christian bretheren being sacrificed, so long as "enough" Muslims get bombed on or killed. Sick motherfuckers are these ChaldoAssyrian 'Christians' let me tell you.

Anyways (sigh) feel free to add on or elaborate further on this disgusting matter. Shlama
