Harisa is not that bad... In Xara a village in Lebanon, near Zahle where I was born, they do Sharit Marsaya ow Marowdesho every year. They used to kill a lamb on the day of this shera which lasted for three days, and they would cook Harisa in a huge pot for the whole village. It tasted so good. I was only 3 when we left Lebanon but I still remember these sheras and the harisa.

On the other hand...friendly advice.....make sure to leave the house for two weeks when they make Pachaaa...(eww)!!! How do people eat that stuff????
