And now..just to play along with these people..let`s imagine for some strange reason the Romans just couldn`t bring themselves to actually nail him to the cross...a sudden crisis of conscience..and they wouldn`t let the Jews do it either..and there the world stood...all those yammering Christians eager to get into heaven and out of this vale of tears...and also scared to death of the hell and Devil they regaled their children with...and NO ONE was willing to nail that sucker to a tree!!!

Those who followed Jesus were mostly Jews and even those who weren't Jews were not called Christians then.

The first time that the followers of Jesus were called Christians was in Antioch.

The word Christ which is Msheekha in Assyrian simply means some one who is annointed with oil.

Even our ancestors the ancient Assyrians believed in heaven and hell,good and evil and that's why they commemorated year after year the death of Dimuzi and celebrated his rise from hell(death) to heaven(life).
