"..our weasel in residence is challenging Maggie Yonan to a debate. That means he and Peter The Rabbit have prepared things for her. She's refused of course...any debate with Aprim lasts as long as Jassim or Firas allows it to....before Aprim fires off an email in the night threatening to take himself away and "then where will you be"? After which Jassim will say Maggie is an enema of Assyria filled with hate etc. and ban her." EXACTLY. I know Fred Aprim's game, and how when he loses, he will start to hurl personal insults at you, and try to solicit all the garbage people he can muster up to do the same, to try to demonize you and discredit you. I know all about it. Besides, I know Fred's article, "The Hallucination of the So-Called Moslem Assyrians" was a purely self-indulgent article, using his own philosophy and dogma, and no references whatsoever to prove his illigitamate claims. When he provides references for his game, I will provide mine. "I think I remember now where I met Maggie...I think she was president of Dadeeshoos School for Scholars. She asked me once for a couple of Lamasu's...said they wanted to give one as a gift to the retiring police chief of Turlock and keep one for their club. I'd stopped making them but agreed to make the two...the day I delivered them Maggie wasn't there but Dadeeshoo was...I'd driven to Turlock to deliver them and though the total cost wasn't much...Dadeeshoo made a point of not having the check ready...said they'd mail it to me. I knew what that meant...it meant they wouldn't mail the check till they'd made me call several times...they play these pissant power games...something about the entire exchange made me sorry I'd ever agreed to do them the favor....ten minutes after leaving the sculptures there I doubled back...walked into Dadeeshoos studio and took the sculptures." Wrong. I was never the president of anything that involved such an organization. I have never asked you for anything. I didn't even know you were an artist until this moment. As an artist, if I had asked you for anything at all, I would have paid you before you even delivered the art work. That's how I work. I am an art and artist advocate and would never think of doing such things to artists, or for that matter to anyone. I met Sargon and the Betnahrain people in 1997. I was living in Santa Cruz at the time. So if this incident took place before that date, it proves my point. But in defense of any organization, I will tell you this. Sargon Dadeesho doesn't sign checks for Ber-Nahrain. The treasure does, and even then you have to have a witness and need another signature before you can hand someone a check. So you could have called in advance and asked them to do that. Bet Nahrain had never cheated anyone out of their money. I do not know for sure who you are, but if you are Fred Parhad, I have only met you and your mother once in my life. I was in my twenties and your mom came to introuduce herself to me at the Assyrian convention. I thought she was the most stunning Assyrian woman I had ever met in my life. And she said the same thing to me. She said she had followed me around to tell me something, "your eyes lajlooja ena". She said only pure hearts have glistening eyes, and you walked over to where your mom and I were standing and she introduced you to me. That is the only time I ever met you, and that was more than twenty years ago. YOu see, I proved the fact that you are assuming things about me. If you are Fred Parhad, please tell your mom, how beautiful I thought she was, inside and out! --------------------- |
