***We are on the same page, why are you disagreeing with me to agree with me. The Twin Towers was a financial U.S. institution. It was the symbolism of democracy. I do agree with you that it was an “Empire of high finance”, but they were disrupting America’s finance’s not just on that day, but what happened after words as you we have witnessed. With respect to travel…all of the airlines went almost bankrupt. The stock market was disrupted even though we were in a mild recession and tourism with other elements greatly disrupted our economy. With the Presidents quick swift actions, we made a soft landing on the recession by passing the biggest tax cut in history. One hundred nine million Americans got a tax cut. That is not one percent of the wealthy population.

A few months after the attack…a tape came out of Al Queda praising what happened in 9/11. The guy talking on the tape(incidentally he gave him self up 6 months ago to Saudi officials on an amnesty program who was sick…you might have some him being towed around on a wheel chair.)

He said “praise to be Allah that the hit went much better than expected. They hit two birds with one stone.” They got max amount of causalities and max amount of financial burden on the U.S.

*** I agree with you. But you have to remember it was a hit on the U.S. interest on U.S soil. They will not target Honda Corp. on American soil, but they will hit Citibank. They will not hit Tele-Mundo, but they would love to hit Fox News. It was to be an American symbol attached to an American Company.

***Once again, policies change… you have to work with the wind of change. We trained the Mujahdeen to fight our cold war enemy the Soviet Union. This was good policy. We ended the cold war with the help of the Mujahdeens and they defeated the Soviet Union with our help. We both came out. You have to also remember the Northern Alliance was at war with the Taliban. Osama Bin Laden killed Mosud (northern alliance leader) one month before 9/11. We supported the Northern Alliance when we took down the Taliban. Only Pakistan and Iraq recognized the Taliban as the legit Government of Afghanistan. Every the Government around the world rejected the Taliban.

***Opium was not discovered or sold only in the 80’s. It has been going on since the end of time. If that is the case then you also have to mention Hashish and every other drug including cocaine as an American Government epidemic.
