But the gallery was dedicated to all artists who wanted to display their works. I had a special section for Assyrian art and sculptures, as well. I'm an ok sculptor, when I want to be, when I'm inspired. And right now, I have no inspiration whatsoever. Now I just sell to those special people who appreciate art, and I occasionally do home decore for them, (Assyrian fixtures, furniture pieces, Assyrian mantles, candle holders, vases, etc.) To tell you the truth, I don't produce much art anymore. I have given up. > >Dying in Hicksville.......... ..ouch. That hurt. Had I known you could have had some of mine...though what good they would do in Turlock I don't know. I know what you mean about inspiration. No one in his or her right mind would think of the fine arts as a way to make money. But I surely do admire you for trying it...especially in Turlock. ..perhaps the best way to do something Assyrian is NOT to aim it at them. --------------------- |
