...there was a gentleman on aina a couple of years back who`s father died. He received many condolences online...I added mine and suggested the moderator might want to correct the spelling of the word "soul" in his tribute and condolences...the word had been spelled "sole" and I just couldn`t leave it that way...it`s terrible to end a long tribute to a man`s father by saying you hope his "sole finds rest". The image is disturbing...and funny too...not at all what was intended, I am sure. But that`s the rule in "Assyria"...they don`t MEAN to be funny...but, Lord, are they ever. In the great tradition of "Assyrian" heroes...the correction was quietly made...but my condolences were deleted. --------------------- |
