...having a war for such purposes doesn't excuse lives lost...it's what you do AFTER the war that makes or breaks you...to the people defeated as well as for your own...when Assyrians defeated people they did not kill them all...they incorporated them into the growing empire, their gods as well. Yahwe was pissed at Joshua for sparing the lives of the Midianite women and children and ordered him to go back and kill them all...this was unheard of in Assyria.

...Adolph Eichman came from Germany...I doubt many Germans want to trace their bloodline to him. There was a good reason Abraham left...his family sounds like a bunch of degenerates, the perfect people to be revered by the Hebrews...all humanity came from Africa once...that's no reason to keep wearing a bone in your nose. I don't see what benefit Abraham brought to the Hebrews...and we sure as hell didn't need him for anything. I mean the guy would tell horny men that his wife was really his sister...so they'd take her inside to screw and be distracted while ole Abe cleaned up.

...if you mean civilians as collateral damage, then yes. I'm talking about wars that TARGET civilians...in a traditional war soldier fights soldier..it was an American addition to warfare to send an army into a village to kill the women and children, once they drew out the men...did it in the Indian Wars and it became a regular tactic among Christian nations...it became standard practise in the Spanish Civil War and every war since then...there were no longer armies facing armies...rather these became a sideshow..the prefered tactic was to skip direct confrontation and kill each other's wives and children...this was never a tactic in the ancient world...except among the people who gave you Christianity.


i like to view these murders on different people by the percentage of population killed not the number. To kill 80000 japanese all u need to do is send a one plane to drop one bomb in a city but to kill 80000 assyrian villagers u need to send an army to travel from one village to another which is a lot harder to do. THat brings me to wondered why an empire would go out of its way soo much to kill villages and simple farmers.

...demoralize people...half of what killed the Native Americans off was their realization that they were up against something their code of honor never imagined..that a man would avoid another man but go for his children instead.

...I meant using what the bible says to form your opinions...that and the earliest archaeologits who themselves were steeped in bible nonsense...as well as the wild-assed notion of the "superiority" of white Euros.

It was most useful to carve those images and make those blood-curdling claims...as a way of scaring people into obedience...there are far more actual descriptions of Assyrian restraint...justice AND of their incorporating conquered people into their empire rather than putting them all to the sword.


As for those hebrews they were killing themselves for weird things, afterall it was their father who almost killed his own son so whos to blame them if thats what they were taught thats wat they will do.

...no one is blaming anyone...history isn't about blame...it should try to be fair and see people for what THEY were...as completely as possible...Assyrian accounts of THEIR culture and history have been kept under lock and key almost from the day they were discovered with hundreds of thousands of tablets as yet un-read..or at least not by many and not made public...why? Can you imagine if those tablets were about the Hebrews that we WOULDN'T know what was in them and there WOULDN'T be a museum or ten devoted to those alone?

Instead we are assured they all contain "boring business documents"...how can that be...and what are the odds? In teo very minor attempts, excavating almost at the surface, the two tablets of the Epic of Gilgamesh were uncovered which just HAPPENED to contain the real Flood story...what are the odds that all the other fragments in that same location are ALL "boring business documents" when the accidental striking of a spade or two turned up the Epic? And, that this discovery gave the lie to Hebrew claims of originality?

Besides which, if it were true that all those tablets are boring and so we shouldn't care to read them...what if EVERY vestige of America were wiped out in 3000 years EXCEPT for the "boring documents" left by Time-Life...Miramax and Amazon.com? Wouldn't the sheer wealth of detail in such boring documents reveal what wealth and richness of culture there was in ancient America?

Have you EVER heard of such a discovery, the ACTUAL words written BY the people of 3000 years ago being described as "boring"?...and therefore not worth the trouble of deciphering...ever? No other culture from the ancient world has left us such a wealth AND volume of detailed and meticulous records kept in REAL time...not centuries later...and yet...where are they?

This isn't conspiracy theory nonsense...I take my cue from the behavior of these experts NONE of them Assyrians and MOST of them Jewish...and yet they clamor like mad apes over an "inscription" in a cave they THINK...COULD have been made by John, The Dunker...and they enshrine a fraud such as the Shroud of Turin AND there are FOURTEEN thumbs of Saint Blowhard, all from his RIGHT hand, being wept over and prayed to in cathedrals all over the "developed" world.

Mere voodoo is turned into fact while science is locked away.
