...I`ve heard this before..that the United Nations set aside money for UNPOS...that is, people without a country etc. Our once Volcano mentioned this again recently in explaining Kakovitch`s hard drive for a government in exile..or whatever...and not just him...there has always been this mad dash to "unite" us all...and I`m wondering how much the thought of United Nations money as well as recognition has to do with it.

It could explain a puzzling thing about the boys...how it is that they don`t seem to care much that they never accomplish anything..or even if their programs and ideas CAN be accomplished...but just the FORMULATING, the MEETING, the TALKING about it all seems to satisfy them...except they want us all to join ONE discusiion group...that will still not be able to implement anything...but will at least be a UNITED group of lunatics...if that could be achieved I think the boys would think they`d died and gone to heaven...

Imagine which of them wouldn`t spurt at the ears to receive a paycheck from the United Nations made out to "Assyrian"? Besides the money...which is just about everything to boys who keep shouting "YOU JUST WANT MONEY"!...there is the "recognition"...that`s more than they could ever hope to achieve on their own...no one is going to pay Peter or Aprim a dime to "be Assyrian"...Peter has to give away his shitty poetry and Aprim has to pay to print his own "book"...The fact that I sold over a million bucks of sculpture to the same people who won`t spend ten bucks on a "book" by either of them has them seeing flame red...I have become a traitor to the mediocrity they must maintain, if they are to be "writers and thinkers" in Assria.

Everyone wants to UNITE right now. Why? Do they seriously think they have a "postion" or a hope in hell in getting MUSLIMS..those same "ferocious" Muslims who`ll kill Paul Younan`s niece for the fun of it...to GIVE THEM anything in the MidEast of today? Of course not...they know damn well there is no triangle or minority RIGHTS anywhere for them in the MidEast...BUT...there might be money in the continued "persecution" of Christians in Iraq...the persecution they all seem to be WANTING so badly and working for. So long as that continues and gets worse...the better their case for some kind of government in exile, though what they could do about it, besides the same pissing and moaning they have been till now about NOT having a government in exile, is a mystery, to them more than anyone. But if the United Nations could fix its attention on ONE group of them...THAT group would win the "prize" and that prize has ALWAYS been recognition and reaffirmation (and cash wouldn`t hurt) from the WHITE CHRISTIAN MAN! Whom, to them, is the apex of cultural refinement and development. THAT`S how far off in a village they come from!!!

THAT does make sense...the rest of their national bullshit doesn`t. And that could also explain why they all maintain a secretive attitude and pretend there are "serious" things going on behind the scenes it wouldn`t do to tell everyone. Their secret may just be that they are all angling for cash, without being able to come out and say so...and that`s the reason they belch these billious and ridiculous "plans" and proooves and diclarations and "books" and letters to bewildered officials around the world.
