The claims that Assyrians were wiped out after their defeat has no basis in reality and it sound foolish. No nation can be so easily destroyed in such a short time especially the Assyrians who were spread over such wide area. The destruction of a few of its cities does not wipe out its entire populaiton,

...the Apaches weren`t all wiped out either...that is not the argument in question...whether you were wiped out or not...you cannot come making a claim to the land occupied for centuries by other people based on your flimsy argument that since Assyrians WEREN`T wiped out...YOU are Assyrians.

...according to the United Nations...to which you run whining every chance you get...indigenous people are those who have been in continuous residence for four hundred years...that`s ALL it takes to become indigenous these days...and oddly enough, or maybe not...400 years happenes to be just about how long the Christians who stole America have been here...so you see anyone in Iraq with that sort of pedigree is indigenous...and just where you got the notion that in international relations law or justice trumps all is really the mysetery...the United States broke every law there is to go kill Iraqis...which you CHEERED..and you want THEM to care about you or uphold a "law"?

Evnen Hitler with all his technology could not wipe out the jews, the Turks could not wipe out the Armenains or the Assyrians even though neither had the means to defend themselves and hundreds of their villages were destoryed millions were killed. All the massacres of the christians in the Middle East during the last 2000 years could not wipe them out. The inhabitants of Assyria were no other thatn the Assyrains. refrences to them in all centuries of Christianity attests to this fact.

...that`s where you fall apart...these references are in your heads and manuscripts...of course there is mention of them...but what you refuse to admit is that the majority of them turned to Islam...which is the only way we can explain the magnificent culture of the Islamic Empire, centered in Baghdad...barely ten miles from Babylon...do you see the picture yet? While the ones who turned to Christ, also turned tail and ran..to China where they were allowed in as a courtesy and a curiosity and never managed to convert any but a few misfits...oh yes..they built a rock.

The Assyrian cities and towns are still known by their ancient names.

If the Assyrians were wiped out the new people would have changed their name to something that reflected their culture and language. It happened in southern Iraq when the MUslIms took over but not in the north. That is because Assyrians survived in the north and kept those names alive.

...kept them until the United States came to liberate those cities too and hand them over to the Kurds..no one, NO ONE is going to put Christians on oil wells in the mideast...I wish you`d get that through your pointy heads.
