The most simple fact on the ground is that the Shiia tend to be more radical and fanatic..like the boys. Under Saddam`s Sunni government boys and their parents even ran liquor stores...and college kids could have picnics and listen to music. But that was before liberation...now the Shiia dominate, then the Sunnis and they`re supposedly the ones bliowing everyone up...the Kurds come next and Christians are the official basket case...but we have "good relations" with the Shiia...in the same Iraq the boys were wailing about just a few years ago. ...that`s my understanding at least. --------------------- |
