...Newsweek just got its fingers burnt by reporting a story that turns out not to have been true after all...although who knows. They said US military personel flushed copies of the Quran down toilets in Abu Ghraib...naturally Muslims were outraged..there were riots in Afghanistan and several Muslims were killed...the Pentagon sources who first leaked the story, now claim they never said any such thing and the two Newsweek writers are sweating it...as is Newsweek...which can`t apologize enough.

Dan Rtaher`s career went up in smoke the same way..he reported a story about Bush and his military non-service...printed some things with too much glee and delight..and WHOOPS..turned out the documents leaked to him were fakes. Now..who benefitted?

One begins to wonder. If you were in this administration..or in the Nazi one a few years back...and you wanted to discredit the "Liberal" media..meaning ahyone who disagreed with you...what better way then to "leak" things to them you know they`d LOVE to believe..convincing them they had just what they needed to blast things wide open...waited it out while the "story" got everyone`s attention..then had some ready minion "leak" the real story..that the media..those lying liberal hounds who just want to GET someone in government...in their usual haste to "slime and smear" the decent folks who are taking you for a ride, rushed to judgement due to their own bias and with no "professional ethics" of any kind. Which is a neat way of white-washing their own lying "press".

The real story, whatever that is, can then be told and the public is left with the feeling they can`t trust the LIBERAL MEDIA...that they`re all liars anyway...so ignore whatever sensational story they come up with next because chances are good it`s based on faked documents, like these two, so don`t believe anything you don`t WANT to!!!. You might say none of these guys are that clever..but I disagree.

What little we managed to learn of Nixon and his dirty tricks..which included stealing staionery from democratic offices and writing fake love letters to other men on them...and that`s just what we know..what we found out by mistake that we weren`t supposed to know...and when you consider the huge, ungodly amounts of money we`re talking about that come to these people when they "lead" us...you can`t put anything past them.

What will be the reaction now if the Media report some new startling scandal in our government? Will people believe it? Maybe...maybe this continues the divide with people who NEED to believe, believing on the basis of just what they read..and those NOT wanting to believe refusing to because "you know what came out the last time".

It`s a marvellous way to weaken the opposition while polishing up their own fake all OVER the place "reports"..and they know damn well there are enough reporters chaffing under the new rules of this corporate take-over and junk-bonding of what used to be fairly legitimate news sources, who are willing to go with a good story. Got rid of dan Rather..and now Michael Isikoff and the other reporter will be jumpy and less likely to believe the next "leak" they get leaked...isn`t paranoia at all...these people have shown themselves to be beneath nothing...able to stoop to anything...people who use lies to murder innocent chuildren..will use lies and anything else it takes to remain in power.
