...It's a one-party system. The democracts are the dumber half, the republicans the unscrupulous ones...together they will take down America. Article says the democrats are "re-thinking" abortion. It's a good thing they didn't "re-think" Civil Rights, or maybe they have been. They think they'll appeal to more voters if they look even more like republicans. What they forget is the number of people they will lose at the other end...those of us who refuse to return to the Dark Ages. These guys remind me of the Harlem Globetrotters...they were good, but they were showmen and had their own opposing team on their payroll who travelled everywhere they went and put up a token opposition...what do you expect from an "opposing" team? the dems are the opposing team to the repub Globetrotters...they too make a show of playing a fierce game but the whole thing is just entertainment. Democratic Leadership Rethinking Abortion By Peter Wallsten and Mary Curtius Times Staff Writers WASHINGTON — After long defining itself as an undisputed defender of abortion rights, the Democratic Party is suddenly locked in an internal struggle over whether to redefine its position to appeal to a broader array of voters. ...political parties and most politicians can only be accurately defined as oportunists...anything else is just cheerleading. --------------------- |
