...the recent mind bending explication of the Yuckarist explained nothing...I mean not about the significance of making such ghastly business holy. It would have been akin to carefully explaining the rituals of sodomy and pederasty and how some Jew 2000 years ago asked his followers to fuck a child, symbolically, in "memory" of him.

I wasn't asking for a blow by blow but a rationale for making THOSE disgusting things into the centerpiece of a religion. Merely telling me that his followers were "told" to do it doesn't clean it up...Hitler told his followers to make pillows and soap out of people...being TOLD to do something...even by a god....doesn't absolve one of personal choice or responsibility. If THAT is what Jesus wanted then Jesus was one sick puppy.

If a guy asks people today to kill him...and then says he wants them to eat his flesh and drink his blood...he's ruled crazy and his fllowers criminal if they act on his directive. In fact right now there's a guy in Germany serving a life sentence because convicted of doing just that...he killed his friend and then ate him and presumably drank some blood into the bargain...his defense should be familiar to every Christians..."he asked me to", he told an unamused judge...

That's the trouble with religion..it incites immorality and illegality and all in the name of a "god". Is it any wonder?

To tell me the EXACT way Jesus wanted to be killed and then eaten is to explain the crime to me...explain HIS rationale for it, but it's STILL a crime. That doesn't change the fact that it is disgusting and condemned and always has been. Just because Jesus says to do it doesn't make it right or healthy.

What IF Jesus had asked us to perform oral sex in his name? Cannibalism and vamirism are CRIMES! Oral sex isn't...
