I was talking to an aquaintance of mine and I was telling him that I am going to Syria to attend my cousins wedding. My friend responded and said "so when you go back do you have to wear a turbin"? I laughed and said no im a Syrian Christian we dont wear turbins. He said "I thought you were Arabic" my response was I am a Syrian who speaks Arabic and he said "are there still Christians over there"? I said yes a small percentage but we're still there. He was happy to hear that and said I'd like to visit one time. I opened up my house to him in Syria and said when your ready its open. He wished me a safe trip and went on his way.
