"There is no evidence of any other people or nation having lived in the land known today as Iraq." ...there is evidence all OVER the place of Muslim culture which has existed there for 1300 years and more...a LOT longer than any Christian presence alone..and what in Ashur's name exists today that Christians built??? In all that time where is there ONE cultural institution or even the remains of one? All there is are monastaries and village churches...that is RELIGION..it is NOT culture. ...The Muslims and the Arabs who brought Islam plus all their descendants who have clearly left their cultural, politiccal, artistic, architectural, musical AND religious mark all over the place are JUST as indigenous as are the few who turned Christian...and seek to use THAT, of all ridiculous basis, for a land claim! --------------------- |
