...The Terri Schavio death watch is fascinating...ain`t no tragedy to me..lots of healthy children were snuffed out in Iraq...so what`s the big deal with Terri?

"According to court documents, Schiavo attempted to say "I want to live" after an attorney prompted her to do so March 18."

"In the presence of Suzanne Vitadamo (Schiavo's sister) and Suzanne's aunt, Mrs Schiavo attempted to verbalize that sentence. She managed to articulate the first two vowel sounds, first articulating 'AHHHHH' and then virtually screaming, 'WAAAAAAA.' She became very agitated but could not complete the vocalization attempted."

The attempted vocalization "is significant with regard to the question of Mrs. Schiavo's end of life wishes," the motion said.

There are lots of interesting sidebars..least of which is the sight of Conservatives scrambling all over themselves, the Constitution and us to make up laws wherever they think they can get away with it, in order to keep their God-base.

Now people are saying she talked..tried to say "I want to Live"...they know that because she was clearly heard to say "Ahhh Waaa"...in fact she "shouted" "WWAAAA"...This of course means "I want to Live"...get it? But, also of course, since she`s brain damaged she couldn`t manage much more than Ahh Waa. So what kind of life is she going to lead anyway and who the hell will want to talk to her? She could have as easily been trying to say "fuck you"...but being brain damaged only manged AhhhWAAA!

Aprim thinks he`s saying all sorts of things when he`s really saying something else entirely..something you have to be related to him to understand..and several partiotic posters manage about as well as Terri does..why I can remember several responses to questions, in the days when Christians could handle a question, that you`d swear came from a brain damaged person..and it usually did...like Peter for instance who`s so fucked up he thought a name change would improve his chances.

But anyway..the thing is people want to believe Terri is saying what THEY need to hear...and that`s religion folks...her parents are SURE she meant to say "I want to Live"...though it could have been " I was Lying"...or "I went wee wee."

But since they want to hear a certain something..like they can live forever...they interpret mumblings of sheer nonsense from the their priest..or worse yey from five out of work Jew fishermen of 2000 years ago as a PROMISE that they`ll live on a cloud forever. People who need to have no trouble seeing the Virgin Mary on a tortilla..or Elvis in a ten year old grilled cheese sandwich...or whatever they need to hear to make things work for them.

...Ahh WAAAAA!
