...This article is billed as "science". That's the stupidity of giving people advanced degrees for "theology"...might as well hand out Phds for Flatworldism and Voodooism too. An advanced degree should be for advanced THINKING...not raking over a barbarous, stupid and supersitition filled past. I'll bet this "scientist" studies biblical "archaeology" which is nothing more than an effort to prove Christ wore sandals.

KIBBUTZ TSUBA, Israel (AFP) - A British archaeologist has uncovered a cave in the mountains near Jerusalem which he believes conclusively proves that the Biblical figure of John the Baptist existed.

"The first concrete evidence of the existence of John the Baptist has been found on site," 46-year-old Shimon Gibson told AFP.

...get that...these guys are excited over a hole in the wall. Can you imagine what they'd do if all those clay tablets told their story instead of ours? They're so fucking desperate to "prove" their garbled myths that have come down to us through several interpretations that they're out hunting up caves while we HAVE our history in our OWN LANGUAGE with NO interpolators from the Greeks through the Romans and then King James...but right from the Assyrians themselves and we could give a shit...so busy are we as well wondering where John the Baptist "preached".

Christianity for Assyrians is proof of their self-loathing...it doesn't have to be that way, but so long as we choose to place Christ before Ashur, that's the way it is.
