..it has to be Christianity..I mean what teaches people who could be sane to believe in nonsense that MIGHT happen and never does, that we have any way of knowing. The unreality of a home on the clouds in eternity takes on more solid significance the more ditzy one is...as in, you have nothing of any moment here on earth and aren`t likely to have so you might as well pin your homes and dreams on another life altogether and design your cloud for all time. This is especially appealing to boys who can`t manage to do much of anything here on earth...nothing that quite accords with their lofty and overblown impressions of what they were 5000 years ago and SHOULD be again...somehow.

There is absolutely no precedent for any existing nation giving anything back to anyone..indigenous or not...none...zip. The boys have been asked repeatedly to point to only one instance of such a thing happening..one time where a modern nation felt so badly for having been unfair to the people it stole the land from, that they have returned ANYTHING. And they can`t..and it doesn`t matter either..such is their "faith". They can`t point to a single person they know who rose from the dead...walked on fish or went to heaven...but to them that only PROVES it happened and can again..because it is unbelievable.

The boys deal in a world without precedent anywhere or at any time...a world that exists nowhere here on earth. All their early training was in fantasticals..in improbables which made a more lasting and deeper impression on them than anything tangible in their immediate surroundings. They were literally raised on NOTHING..and it shows in the "logic" and the arguments they give the world for why they should be given back a country they claim was theirs 2000 years ago.

While they pine and yearn and dream of a world that doesn`t exist...they fuck up royally all over the place in the one that DOES exist..right beneath their feet. Witness their witless reliance on America and GREAT BRITAIN to come to their rescue...again! Or their hurt and wounded sense of justice now that any Muslim anywhere expresses anger and violence against Christians..ANY Christians..the way Christians were encourgaed to go murder ANY Muslim. They act for all the world as if there is no reason whatsoever for Christians of Iraq to now be persecuted like they never have been..."must be those violent Muslims"! they say, in all seriousness...and will bring out their manuscripts yet again and tell you about 1245 or 987 or 1933...and if that doesn`t convince you Peter will bring up his one Russian tourist who figured out the population of Christians in Iraq...on a visit before the First World War!

What strikes one is how amazingly naive..yet sincere and also stupid these boys are. And it doesn`t phase them a bit...though I do think not a one of them would get up before a body of scientists, or clowns, anywhere and repeat this nonsense.

But I`ll tell you what there IS a precedent for...the placement of public monuments by each and every group in America...and THAT is one thing they feel must NOT happen...

I am certain as I can be that it is WITHOUT precedent for any ethnic minority in the United States to gather its nickels and dimes and build a monument reflecting their much touted glorious past...give it as a gift to a city such as Chicago...have it gratefully accepted...and THEN have one of its LEADERS...threaten to sue the city if it dares do such a thing...especially when that Nimrod`s own dead sister wanted it that way and paid over half the cost herself...and died waiting for her own brother to get out of the way..and no one...NO ONE made any serious or concerted protest...this is NOT the stuff from which you make descendants of the Assyrians!

This is residual Christian shit...pure and simple.
