....you really can`t discuss much with these people...they`ll just bless you and pray for you....but here`s an attempt...

It`s very hard to have a reasonable discussion with god-people. In the end you`ll refer back to what five out of work Jews said 2000 years ago. Whatever we discuss today will be dragged back to that old tune.

Christianity is merely the belief that Jesus was the true Messiah...the JEWISH messiah. Our people had no tradition of a Messiah and no need of one. If you lived in Jerusalem you desperately wanted out of there and since you couldn´t make crops grow without killing your firstborn...as opposed to inventiong agriculture and irrigation..you weren´t much able to get to any kind of paradise ANYWHERE without the celestial help of angels and what not.

The Assyrian tradition was worlds away from that..that`s why we had heaven on earth already in Nineveh...and the reason the Hebrews were so damn envious.

Our own beliefs are expressed best in the Epic of Gilgamesh...the idea being that it is futile and downright silly too to bother with those "lofty" questions the Jews preferred because they couldn´t manage simple stuff...like do you eat goat turds or use them to grow food instead? Not being very good at that sort of earth-bound stuff, those nincompoops decided to measure the distance to Eternity instead and a whole lot of other things they knew damn well no one could call them on...cause who the hell knows?

In the end Gilgamesh learns true wisdom from a woman...Sidhuri, who tells him to not bother with things that are beyond the brightest people of his day...but rather to ne a good husband, father, citizen and king....and take care to create all the paradise anyone needs on EARTH...leaving the heavens to the gods.

We had no need of a Messiah...the Hebrews had NOTHING else to pin any hopes on.

Your Christianity makes one ridiculous claim after another and when challenged says it all really happened that way because five Jews you never met and have no way of knowing ever existed, said so...you call that Faith and get all wet....a sane person would call you just too stupid to be taken seriously.

If you tell me pigs are right now flying on Mars, it is not MY job to prove you wrong..and in the absense of any proof, to therefore tell me they COULD be. If you`re going to stand the world on its head then YOU have to provide the evidence for your claims.

The bible is hardly any reservoir of morality of a kind any decent human would want..that´s why we broke the back of your churches long ago..because you were killing our minds and spirits with this tripe and your insistence that it has to be true...or ELSE!

There is nothing new in Christianity..not a damn thing..there were humane and decent and kind people long before Christ and there are millions the world over today who want no part of him. The only thing it brought into the world was the sanctifying of human sacrifice..something the Jews practised then...as well as the notion that if you can benefit, if you can get a BIG goodie from the crime of murder...the murder of Jesus, then you should GO for it!!! That makes you a criminal accessory to a crime AFTER the fact here on earth,,,an earth governed by Gilgamesh and Hammurabi and NOT by yahwe..thank Ashur.

And to round out this crime that is at the CORE of Christianity, true believers MUST eat the flesh and drink the blood of the corpse, the human sacrifice. Now why would you people pick two of the most condemned crimes, cannibalism and vampirism, the world has ever known and make them the CENTERPIECE of your religion? Why would you teach children that it is a positive...even a divine thing to accept the gifts that can come to them ONLY through the murder of an Innocent? If Eternity is worth killing an innocent for...then maybe Petroleum is too.

Christianity is nothing more than Judaism that believes it found its Messiah in Jesus...whereas to the rest of them he is just one more of a long line of false Messiahs. There is no moral or ethical teaching in Christianity that doesn´t exist in ANY other religion or can be found in combination...the ONLY thing it brings is the old Hebrew belief that if you kill what is dearest to you and most innocent...THAT kind of a sick god will give you what you ask for and want most terribly...THAT terrribly.

Not only is this sick beyond words...look at modern Christianity...but it is as far as anything can be from our own teachings and beliefs...Assyrians had no tradition for and no use for this kind of religion. To understand that you only have to look at what we achieved when inspired by Ashur and what this yahwe and and his kid have done to us...and like true Jews you WOULD claim that now that we eat dirt and humble pie we are "blessed".

Take your god and shove him...the world has had about enough of him.
