...my daughter tells me some kids went to the high school administration and asked that they be allowed to pledge allegiance to the flag again..and so the school "acquiesed" to their desires...but students don`t HAVE to stand and salute...so she didn`t and neither did a Moroccan and Israeli girl..and sure enough one white jock scanned the class during their recital to see who wasn`t going along.

In the 60s I stood with the rest but refused to repeat the words...for which I got sent to the Dean`s office often enough. I thought we were done with that but here it comes again..along with god and his angels. You can tell we`re doing really horrible things when God has to be brought in to cover over the blood.

This isn`t the Second World War and it`s questionable how noble that war was either...but since Korea and through Vietnam and now in Iraq, American soldiers have been murdering civilians, their children especially and not in the name of defending us but to increase profits for a few even as they get laid off and downsized and can`t find work when the whole bloody thing is over...This ugly little fact isn`t being talked about anywhere...you can call on the ghosts of Hitler to justify all this but it`s a hollow sham.

The white guy said the young women..and they were all women, should respect the flag and recite along with the rest...but he and his Bush are the ones showering insults on the American flag and Constitution. In the long run was Hitler an ultra-nationalist or the greatest enemy his country ever had?
