..look how easy it is to strip an Assyrian of the identity we claim heralds back thousands of years: All that has to happen for you to no longer be of this ancient bloodline, stretching back to the dawn of history, is for you to disagree with Aprim...that´s it...that will do it. It also can happen to you if you change religions...if you come from one Muslim country instead of another...it can be taken from you if you fall in love with the wrong person or even get raped by the wrong one...and it can happen REAL fast if a Christian and not a Muslim kills you...if an Amercan bomb drops on your crib you will be buried as a non-Assyrian...it´s that simple to lose your Grat identity.

Imagine under what conditions an American can lose his or her American identity. Certainly you can be called un-American for a host of things, but none of them will get you kicked out of the country if you are a citizen. Acts of overt treason won´t even do it...you´ll just go to prison or get executed as an American...a bad one, but an American all the same.

Of course you can marry whom you please and until Bush gets his way, you can be of any religion or none at all and still be an American. You can also be of any ethnicity and color and you´ll remain an American..or British or French. In fact, only YOU can remove yourself from being an American. This at least is the way it works in modern countries that have a real national identity and PURPOSE.

We, on the other hand, are a congeries of Christian mutts who are all for "show"...that´s all. Wander ever so slightly in any direction from "Assyria" and you will be stripped of your identity and become an outcast and even an enemy.

It´s because we have nothing to do...because we mean nothing, that we can so easily dispense of each other. Americans, confronted with serious tasks facing them, need and utilize every single American they can dredge up...but we, who do nothing, who build nothing, who don´t seriously WANT to do anything...we can afford to check for the purity of our workers...because we don´t really need a one of them. It´s a game with us...there isn´t an obstacle ahead of us that requires all hands to pitch in....whether Aprim or Jassim or Jatou or Kanna have ten thousand followers of three makes no difference...there isn´t anything for them to do...not in the modern ara anyway.
