...over at aina...were they can answer anything... Help with Assyrian definitions Posted By: Khaya Atour (acae0937.ipt.aol.com) Date: Saturday, 14 May 2005, at 4:54 p.m. Can someone clear this up for me. What are all the definitions for Nineveh? Can someone tell me if this is right in Assyrian... Ninweh = City Ninwaya = From the city of Ninweh? Ninweta = A female from the city of Ninweh? Does anyone know what Nenif means also? ...before attempting to answer your last question let me add that there is also "Nitwit"...that`s someone born today who`s convinced he has anything to do with Nineveh. "Ninweta" is merely the feminine of "Nitwit". ..as for "Nenif"...I don`t know. Isn`t such honesty among us scholars refreshing? --------------------- |
