4 soldier suicides ion one week, in one place

Army's largest base reeling from four apparent suicidesBy Larry Shaughnessy, CNNSeptember 29, 2010 3:36 p.m. EDT

(CNN) -- Four soldiers from the Fort Hood Army base in Texas -- all decorated veterans from the wars in Iraq or Afghanistan -- died in the past week, a Fort Hood spokesman said Wednesday.

In all four cases, it appears the soldiers took their own lives, spokesman Christopher Haug said.

...all "decorated veterans"...all of them "heroes". What were they decorated for? What besides killing innocent civilians...maybe for fun. I´d like to think their consciences got the btter of them and they couldn´t live with what they had done, in the name of patriotism and what Bush said was "America".

Seems to me that even by their belated deaths they have vindicated the honor of America...for what it should have stood for.
