...this keeps popping up as a talking point...who decided it as 5%? How did they arrive at that number...and why? What's the point of it all?

..I think, first of all, the number 5% was chosen from thin air or hairy arse because it sounds "reasonable"...it's really a small number so people might accept it readily....they might have trouble with %30...or 50%, but 5%? Okay, people will buy that.

But then comes the shocker....there are 1.6 BILLION Muslims in the world....now, all of a sudden, that small 5% turns out to represent 60 MILLION MUSLIM TERRORISTS!!! Now you ARE afraid...which is the whole point.

I remember vividly about 60 years ago when newspapers were full of commies coming to get us...and not just a commie or two, but the ENTIRE Soviet Union...it got so ludicrous I stopped reading or listening to any story or report about communists and the danger etc. It was so obviously manufactured bullshit meant to allow the government to "protect" us, usually by robbing us to pay warmongers. Then, as now, we NEEDED the Soviets...they were the greatest allies of the same government control freaks and warmongers...which is the reason we never saw the collapse coming, because it was the LAST thing we wanted or looked for....just as today we've been feeding those dangerous North Koreans hoping like hell they stay alive and STAY communist and a "threat"...there's a lot of money to be made off of them, someday.

And now it's Muslims...it won't do to scare us with an underwear bomber or two..or even another 19 hijackers...we need something BIG...something on the order of another Soviet Union...and so this 5% number keeps popping up because it represents MILLIONS of Muslims out to get us.

Just bend over and keep writing those checks...and we will protect you.
