...they put out another "paper" condemning what they call "hate" against Iraqi Christians...but they don;t mention the far more direct and devastating hate against Muslims shown by the West.

There was never "hate" leveled at Iraqi Christians before the West came a-bombing. For proof we have the fact that churches and Christians have existed in peace, and would still be doing so today, had not the West started on this jihad. There is certainly increased suspicion and animosity against Christians now than there was before...but that is justifiable, it is understandable....after all when America goes to war with Iraq over 9/11, when there was not a single Iraqi involved, it clearly shows you can lash out at ANYONE when you feel yourself 'attacked"...ergo it is understandable, by the same measure, that Iraqi Muslims would feel animosity towards their fellow Iraqis, who subscribe to the same faith as their attackers.

Not much has changed since Shapur turned a suspicious and and nasty eye towards his Christian subjects when they prayed and worked for a Roman victory...they betrayed their own country and neighbors...what did they expect? And we haven't learned that lesson...that lesson in basic survival that led the ancient Christians of Persia to choose Nestorianism simply because it was a heresy to the Romans, as a way to prove to them that Persian Christians were not welcome to the Romans....we haven't learned that simple lesson, instead we BEG the "Romans" to come save us....and we're surprised there is retaliation and bad blood?

The AUA would have more credibility if it condemned ALL persecution of Iraqis and not just of Christians....Iraqi Muslims, and Christians as well, have been targeted for the past 18 years by a coalition of Christian nations..the most powerful nations on earth,,,,while Iraqi Christians have faced only the animosity of SOME Iraqi Muslims...

...who has been persecuted and "hated" more...and who has shown greater tolerance?
