Pancho, My point was that you are claiming Mar Bawai divided the church/nation, however it is the leader that exiled him who is the catalyst and the spark of division. We must not forget who started this whole mess, it was not Mar Bawai nor was it Pancho, it was Mar Dinkha. I am just providing comparison to Mar Bawai's control over the church to Lincoln's cabinet members, they dont have that much power. However, both Lincoln and Mar Dinkha have control and power over their cabinet members. So if you want to compare Lincoln's great ideas than compare him to another leader that has control and power over an entity, like Mar Dinkha does over the ACOE, but do not compare them to Mar Bawai who not only was exiled for the most frivolous reasons (especially in comparison to Mar Aprim and Mar Meelis's deeds), but is also a defendant of over 150 charges. Thanks khon. --------------------- |
