..it's very simple. Stand back and take a long look back at our history and you see that all this nationalism bullshit, fueled by bogus accusations of Islamic "persecution", and a supposed "national/ethnic" identity that requires a faith in Christ, has cost us and cost us and cost.

..no nationalist position has benefitted us...not once, not ever. We've been repeatedly devastated by this ditzy faith in Western Christian nations which will "rush" to our aid if only they can be made to feel sorry enough for us...and we kiss their arses enough.

...Every demand, every call, every overture we've made for what is essentially a Christian minority trying to pass itself off as a "nation" and an "ethnicity"...has caused more and incresing loss, and escape, death, loss of treasure and livlihood..increased numbers of refugees and every tragedy which people could bring on their own heads,,,it's sort of like suicide-by-police..where someone wishes to end his life by forcing the police to shoot him...we seem to want to wipe ourselves out through suicide-by-Islam. At least that's the only strategy our nationalists have come with that actually shows results.

...It's not necessary to prove there is no such thing as Assyrians...not in any meaningful sense. For some time I thought the best way to dismantle the nationalist nightmare was by kicking the foundation out from under it. But that puts me on the attack...even I'm attacking a really dumb idea...and puts the nationalists in a defensive mode.

...But the real way to put this sily notion to bed for good is to make THEM attack;agree that Assyrians survived...but that the majority of them became and are Muslims. The advantage to this approach is that it forces nationalists into displaying their racism and bigotry when THEY attack this idea...rather than appearig to be "defending" their nationalist whatevers...now, with the realization that the majority of Assyrians turned to Islam rather than Christ, nationalists are forced to reveal the bigotry and racism which manage to remain hidden, so long as the discussion is about whether or not any Assyrians survived at all.

...Rather than just bat their eyes and make appeals to heaven, and rattle off the numbers of martyrs etc...looking like victims...they'll have to go on the attack, displaying the hatreds and viciousness, not to mention stupidity of their central claim that ONLY Christians can be Assyrians. THAT'S where the battle is.

...for the truth of the Christian Assyrian identity is that it's ALL based on religion...and even a perticular sect of Christianity. That's all it is...but so long as we play the game by their rules, racism remains hidden. So we admit that Assyrians survived but also insist that there's no reason to believe and no proof either, that all Assyrians converted to Christ alone and that those who did changed to Islam in far greater numbers...AND, that being Muslim, and defining your Assyrian heritage for you YOURSELF, and not by the criteria selected and mandated by Christian Assyrians, is valid. Nothing any Christian Assyrian has to say about how Muslim Assyrians define and relate to their Assyrian ancestry, has any validity or applicability. Let Christians define how they want to be Assyrians.....and let Muslims define it the way THEY choose.

..But, however it's done, one thing is clear; if you want to save the lives of the Christians of Iraq, allow them to live there and raise their families in peace, the nationalist agenda MUST be exposed for the Christian sham that it is, shown for its religious bigotry and near-Zionist racism...and kill it for good....or make it clear who and what people are really dealing with whenever Christain Assyrians call on the Bible to validate their "Assyriansm".
