It's galling to hear America describe itself as now rescuing Iraqis. That's the same claim they made when they attacked Iraq in the first place, "we're here to help save you". We destroy a place then rush in to give water to the survivors.

Interesting to note that regular news agencies do not call Iraqi Christians "Assyrians"....the only ones to do that are FOX and Wikipedia, which about settles their hash. It's absurd to call Christians Assyrians because THEY say they are....you can't claim to be German because you say so...yes, you DO have to prove your nationality....
